How signing in with GitHub or Discord works, and what an account lists.

An account is optional, and you can run servers without one. Signing in adds a list of your servers to your account on the website.

How it works

Mineshire never asks for a password. You confirm a code in your browser instead.

  1. In the app, choose to sign in. Mineshire shows a code.
  2. Open the page in your browser, either with the Open with code button or the address shown. Sign in there with GitHub or Discord.
  3. Check that the website shows the same safety word as the app, then confirm.

A code works for ten minutes. When it runs out, the app offers Get a new code.

What your account lists

After you sign in, your account lists your servers' versions, icons and whether they're running. The names of your computers and servers are locked on your computer first, so only you can read them.

Controlling servers from the website stays off until you turn it on in Settings.

Signing out

You can sign out from the app. Your servers keep running on your computer either way.
