What stays on your computer and what goes online, and when.
Mineshire has no analytics and no telemetry, and you can use it without an account.
Stays on your computer
- Your servers and worlds.
- Backups and console logs.
- Settings and the files you add.
- Pictures you add, which get checked on your computer.
Goes online only when you use it
- Server software, Java and add-ons come from their own download sites, like Adoptium for Java and Modrinth or CurseForge for plugins and mods.
- A tunnel runs through playit.gg once you switch it on.
- A console log is uploaded only when you press Share.
- Player faces and a few other small things come from the web.
- Signing in puts the names and versions of your servers on your account. See Sign in to Mineshire.
