Share your console log
Send a log link when you ask for help, and what leaves your computer when you do.
When something breaks, the console log is the most useful thing you can show.
Share it
- Open the server's Console tab.
- Press the Share the log button in the toolbar.
- Mineshire uploads the log and gives you a link, with a QR code. Copy or open the link, then paste it wherever you're asking for help.
The log leaves your computer only when you press that button.
Take it back
The share dialog has a Delete button, and it works for 60 minutes after you share.
Older runs and crashes
The Console has Live console and Past logs. Past logs lists earlier runs and crash reports, newest first. Open one read-only, search it, copy it, or share it with the same tools.
What to write with it
A link on its own is hard to act on. Add what you were doing, what you expected and what happened instead. If you've already spotted the first error in the log, mention it. And paste logs as text or share the link, because a screenshot of the last three lines hides exactly what people need.
