Windows says "Windows protected your PC"
Why the blue warning shows up the first time you run the installer, and how to continue.
Mineshire is still new, so Windows may stop the installer with a blue window that says Windows protected your PC. It shows up because the installer has no publisher certificate yet. It doesn't mean something is wrong with the file.
Continue anyway
- In the blue window, choose More info.
- Choose Run anyway.
You only have to do this the first time.
Is it safe?
Download Mineshire from the Downloads page only, never from a copy someone sent you. Once it's installed, updates inside the app are checked against Mineshire's own signature before they install.
