Update Mineshire
How updates reach you, where to check for one, and where to read what changed.
Mineshire updates itself from inside the app, so there's no need to download the installer again.
Check for an update
Open Settings and go to Updates, then press Check for updates. If there's a newer version, the button turns into Show the update and you can install it from there.
Every update is checked against Mineshire's own signature before it installs. Updates the app installs itself won't bring back the warning your system showed on the first launch.
Read what changed
Two places list the changes:
- Release notes in the app, from the sidebar or from Settings, Updates. They show the notes for the version you have installed.
- The changelog on the website, which covers every version.
Your servers stay put
Updating Mineshire doesn't touch your servers or their Minecraft version. Changing a server's version is its own step: Change a server's Minecraft version.
